From our staff

“In my working life, I have worked a few different jobs in healthcare settings. I’ve seen and been through a lot. I finally found the best place, where your patients are allowed to say they are done with treatments.

Why Willamette Vital Health? Teamwork!  I have worked many places where you were lucky to find someone to help you transfer someone, let alone take a visit.  It’s not like that here – there is always someone willing to give a helping hand.

I was a single mom with 2 kids. Life has happened to me along my path, as well – the ups, downs, surgeries, illnesses, having to pick up kids urgently, and the death of my Mom, which brought me here. The WVH team has been here for me. When my chips were down, they told me, “Take care of YOU and your family.” I have to work. Why not work for someone who has your back?

I left WVH once. On my first day, I was comparing it to WVH. I called HR and asked if I could comeback home. They hired me back. They didn’t have to, but I have been forever grateful, since.”

- Carleen, Lead Hospice Aide

“I have been working for WVH for 7 years now. This is more than just a job, it is a calling. The working environment is fast paced, challenging and very rewarding. Teamwork is a must! I am planning on retiring from here.”

- Horacio, Licensed Massage Therapist

“It’s not just a job, it’s a calling.  We are not just employees, we are family. “

- Arlene, Admissions Specialist
