Parents, educators, and caregivers are invited to this free presentation to learn more about talking to and supporting children facing the serious illness or death of a loved one. Participants will:
• Recognize the typical responses of children experiencing grief • Identify ways to support children that are grieving • Learn communication tools to use when discussing death, illness, and grief with children • Leave with tools to support children facing a loved one’s serious illness, death, or grief
