Workplace bereavement support

One topic that has a dramatic impact on any organization is grief in the workplace.  Coping with serious illness or death is never easy. Our work environment is often our second home and extended family. When a coworker is grieving the death of a loved one, has a life-threatening illness, or has died, it has a major impact on each of us individually and the workplace as a whole. Workplace dynamics and productivity are affected.  We offer an individualized, on-site educational seminar & grief support for managers and/or employees in which you will learn:

  • What to expect & what to do to support your employees and workplace
  • Grieving process dynamics
  • How & when to communicate
  • Danger signals of an employee in crisis and potential financial impact
  • Grief support resources and more

Our bereavement counselors can assist you with creating supportive responses to the needs of your work place at a time of grief. Memorial services and focused activities designed to facilitate remembering and healing are offered.
