Pet Therapy

Pet therapy teams have helped hospice patients at Willamette Valley Hospice for nearly a decade.  Thanks to a generous local donor, we are working to expand our pet therapy program.

Willamette Valley Hospice can train and certify new pet therapy teams at no cost to the volunteer with a 6 month commitment to serve. Training is offered regularly and pet therapy teams are certified through a variety of local training organizations. Become a pet therapy team, and you can serve in your own community and on your own schedule.
