The mission of
Willamette Valley Hospice is to enhance the quality of life for terminally ill persons and their families, to provide bereavement support for the caregivers and families of our patients and members of the community, and to educate the community about the hospice philosophy and programs.
 

 
 

 

Comprehensive Services With A Team-Oriented Approach

Hospice care, provided in a team-oriented approach is expressly tailored to meet the needs and wishes of adults, children and infants living with serious or life-limiting illness.

The Hospice Team

Tailored to fit each individual's needs, our hospice team of professionals and volunteers provides service wherever a person calls home.  We focus on providing comfort care that enables a person to remain in his/her home surrounded by the people and things he/she loves.  Members of our hospice team who provide that support are:

  • Your primary physician
  • Board-Certified Hospice and Palliative Care physicians
  • Registered and Board-Certified Hospice and Palliative Care nurses
  • Nurse practitioners
  • Medical social workers
  • Spiritual counselors, if requested
  • Physical, occupational, speech, massage, and music therapists
  • Dieticians
  • Home health aides
  • Bereavement counselors
  • Trained volunteers
