Leaving a Memory in the Garden

The Memory Garden is a unique place to remember a loved one or pay tribute to a friend.  It features a mature eastern redbud tree, mountain laurels, rhododendrons, and hydrangeas along with a variety of perennial plants.  The garden includes five garden benches placed throughout the garden, a bell and a water feature with flowing water over three stone monuments.  Donated by South Salem Rotary, the bell and water element provide a relaxing space to sit and reflect.  Daily, staff rings the bell in honor of patients who have died the previous day.

Since the Memory Garden was created, we have had many requests from friends and family members wanting a special way to remember their loved ones.  If you would like to make a donation or wish to purchase a shrub or perennial plant please call Karen Lewis at 503.588.3600 for more information.    All proceeds from you tax deductible gift to the Memory Garden will be used in support of patient care.

Workplace Giving

Many companies offer matching gift programs – ask your employer if donations are matched and your company’s process for matching and maximizing your donations.

Your generous donations are tax-deductible.  Thank You!

Your Gifts of Support Make A Difference!  Thank You!

Thanks to the generous support of community members like you, Logan, his father Jeff,

and their family could attend our summer camp after the death of Logan's mom.

As a nonprofit 501(c) 3 Willamette Valley Hospice is grateful for the continuing generosity of individuals, businesses and the community who continue to support our efforts.  Many of the programs we offer, such as bereavement for adults and children, summer grief camp for children & families, respite care, volunteer & spiritual support, music, occupational & massage therapies are non-reimbursable.

Also, because Willamette Valley Hospice provides services for all, regardless of ability to pay, your generosity helps those who have no insurance and are unable to pay for hospice services and care.

As a community-based nonprofit organization all donations go directly back into the community benefiting individuals, families and the community throughout the Willamette Valley. We count on your generous support to ensure these essential services are available to everyone.
