Grief Support Services

"Sharing your pain with others won't make it disappear, but it will, over time, make it more bearable."

Grief Support Groups and Services - A Pathway to Healing

Grieving the death of a loved one is difficult work. Often bereaved people need extra support as they continue their life without the presence of their loved one. Receiving the support can help a bereaved person make the journey through grief with a greater sense of hope, strength and connection with the world them.

Willamette Valley Hospice offers bereavement services to anyone in the community who has experienced the recent death of a loved one whether related to hospice care or not.

Bereavement support is an essential part of hospice care. Continuing contact and support is available to caregivers and family members following the death of a loved one who received hospice or palliative care services from Willamette Valley Hospice.
