We are very sad to announce that Camp Mighty Oaks is cancelled for this year. This was a difficult decision to make because this camp touches the lives of children and their caregivers in a unique, profound way. Unfortunately, the requirements placed on all summer camps this year make it impossible to run the camp in such a way that we can meet the goals of the camp.
While nothing can replace the experience of Camp Mighty Oaks, we are designing a 6-week online Children's Bereavement Group. It will be a new adventure with activities designed to support the participants as they connect with each other and journey through their grief, together. The campers will meet online on Tuesdays, July 14th through August 18th. Registration starts now simply by calling our office at 503.588.3600 and asking for our Bereavement Department.
