There is a lot of fun at camp!

The butterfly release is always a special and moving part of camp.

Music therapy helps kids express feelings and talk about their loss.

 

 
 

                              Camp Mighty Oaks

                         

Each summer Camp Mighty Oaks provides an experience that supports children and families who are grieving the death of a loved one.

Campers enjoy fun-filled activities that promote hope and healing:

  • Remembering Loved Ones
  • Making New Friends
  • Laughing and Having Fun Again
  • Learning about Feelings
  • Campfire Circles & Nature Walks
  • Arts & Crafts

Camp is open to families with children who have experienced the death of a loved one during the previous two years.  Kids must be 5 years or older and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to participate.
